Red Melon on the list of plants that live in the lowlands, and can grow well at altitudes between 500 meters and 1,000 meters above sea level (masl). But ideally, red melons grown on land at an altitude of 500 above sea level. Because, the higher of plantation land is used fruit less productivity.

Fix Invalid Environment Block Grub2 Error at Ubuntu-11.10 Oneiric Ocelot

Nearly a month, I have trouble error booting process on my oneiric ocelot. Every boot always displays an error message like that appears in the picture above.

At some forum/group Ubuntu Indonesia Community (sites, mailing lists, social media, etc) I asked about the error "Invalid Environment Block grub2 at Ubuntu 11.10" is, but I can not find a solution to what I asked (no answer) #hiks

And consequences of what happens (grub2 error), boot process becomes a very slow as hell and it's very annoying for me (keur mah sim kuring teh rada nteu sabaran). To get into the login page takes a few minutes, and moreover to get into the desktop page??? #dzigs

And #woot there is something important and I forget about cases like this. What is it? yea, why do not I try to ask to Google? #doh and google has always proven to be a source of answers to what happened to many seeker (like me, LebaayyyyDotBroot) #roflmao

What is "Invalid Environment Block" and why it could be happen, and what should we do (solution) so that such errors could be wiped out in our favorite operating system? Apparently, the error is not the first time this has happened (there) in Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot version but have been around a long time. At bugs.launchpad.net site (10/01/2009) written:

Binary package hint: grub2

grub gave this error invalid: environment block when after an unclean shutdown.
I ended up deleting grubenv and that worked to get me booting again but next time unclean shutdown it boots up and runs fsck? shows some inode stuff and next boot i get the message again.

Looking at grubenv: it is showing it to be 0 bytes , when this problem occurs.

I also have copied grubenv a read only file from a good computer really has same effect as deleting it. Reinstall grub still same problem.....

wohohooo .... The error was due to 'shoutdown' undue. And yea, to fix any errors on ubuntu always very easy, just type spell below on terminal:

# cd /boot/grub
# rm grubenv
# grub-editenv grubenv create
# grub-editenv grubenv set default=0
# grub-editenv grubenv list
default=0

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error

I recently encountered a 500 internal server error on one of my weblog is www.addiehf.net, the 500 error is a generic error message that can be displayed for many reasons. So, I thought I would post about it here (though only a screenshot - LOL).

Wikipedia says:

5xx Server Error

The server failed to fulfill an apparently valid request.

Response status codes beginning with the digit "5" indicate cases in which the server is aware that it has encountered an error or is otherwise incapable of performing the request. Except when responding to a HEAD request, the server should include an entity containing an explanation of the error situation, and indicate whether it is a temporary or permanent condition. Likewise, user agents should display any included entity to the user. These response codes are applicable to any request method.

500 Internal Server Error
A generic error message, given when no more specific message is suitable.

How To Fix the 500 Internal Server Error

The 500 Internal Server Error is a server-side error, meaning the problem is not with your computer or Internet connection but instead is a problem with the web site's server.

Even though the issue is not yours to fix, there are some things you can try:

1. Reload the web page. You can do that by clicking the refresh/reload button, pressing F5, or trying the URL from the address bar again.
   Even though the 500 Internal Server Error is reporting a general error on the web site's servers and not your computer, the server error may only be temporary. Trying the page again will often be successful.
   
   Note: If the 500 Internal Server Error message appears during the checkout process at an online merchant, be aware that duplicate attempts to checkout may end up creating multiple orders - and multiple charges! Most merchants have automatic protections from these kinds of actions but it's still something to keep in mind.
2. Come back later. The 500 Internal Server Error message is one of the most common HTTP error message seen when checking out during an online purchase so sales are often disrupted. This is usually a great incentive to resolve the issue very quickly.
3. Contact the webmaster. Chances are good that the website administrators already know about the 500 error but if you suspect they don't, you can always try to contact the website directly.
   
   The best way to find contact information for a website is through a WHOIS search, using the domain name (i.e. facebook.com) as your search term. If that doesn't produce an email address, the webmaster of most Internet sites can be reached via email at webmaster@website.com, replacing website.com with the actual website name.
